How to make your human hair wigs soft again?

Prepping Your Human Hair Wig Before Washing

Whether you are styling or washing your human hair wigs, it's important to de-tangle them first. Begin from the ends and work upwards with a wide-tooth comb to reduce damage. Please don’t brush your wig from roots to tips.

To rejuvenate your hair wig, we recommend using an Argan oil along the length before washing them. The oil will restore moisture.

Shampooing Your Human Hair Wig

The next step is to ensure that you use a sulfate-free shampoo.

Dampen your wig under lukewarm water and apply a sulfate-free shampoo to the hair's direction to prevent tangling.

Conditioning Your Human Hair Wig

After you've rinsed out the shampoo, treat your wig to a moisturizing conditioner. Coat your wigs completely with a moisturizing conditioner, working your way to the tips. Concentrate on the nape and ends areas while conditioning them. Please do not rub conditioner directly onto the cap area as this may cause the knots to loosen over time.

Rinse the conditioner under cold water. It will help close the cuticles and retain moisture.

Drying Your Human Hair Wig

Place the wet hair wig on towels and let the excess water drip out naturally. Then, gently pat the wigs with the towel and let them air dry.

When your wig are about 80% dry, apply a thin layer of Argan oil to minimize frizz, retain a lustrous shine, and keep them looking & feeling soft.

Storing Your Human Hair Wig

To keep your wig in good shape, you should store your wig on a wig stand or Styrofoam head. You should also keep your wig away from a heat source to avoid drying out and becoming dull. Remove tangles from your hair before storing it to keep it in good shape for the next time you wear it.
